CHARACTER INFORMATION
NAME: Martin Stein
CANON: The Flash/Legends of Tomorrow
AGE: 66
CANON POINT: At the end of S1 of Legends of Tomorrow, after Vandal Savage's defeat
BACKGROUND: Here
INCENTIVE: Martin's incentive for coming to Eudio would be the safety to live alone, without fear of him exploding in a nuclear chain reaction that would wipe out half of any city. He would have no need for a partner in the Firestorm Matrix, though if one were there, it could be used as need be (or not, would need a discussion, especially if Ronnie Raymond does app).
FIT: Martin would seem to be an odd fit for Eudio. He has been happily married for the last forty years or so, and hasn't strayed from his wife during that time. But it is a great scientific experiment to him, and he is first and foremost a scientist. It will take him a long time to work past any hangups regarding his wife. He will be happy to socialise, but for him to do anything more will take a lot of work. Though in the interests of science...
CONSENT: Although Martin sometimes is a product of his time, and can come across as misogynistic at times, he believes in consent entirely. He has too much respect for his fellow man.

Powers/Abilities
Martin is one half of the superhero Firestorm, through a shared consciousness. His partner, whomever it may be, provides the muscle, and he likes to say he provides the smarts - that is, if he can get whoever he is merged with to listen. Not always an easy task when you are being lectured to... Firestorm is capable of flight, of absorbing nuclear power, of transmutation (when he is with Jefferson - he will not have that power in Eudio since he can't merge with Jefferson). The disadvantage is that he has to merge periodically with the other half of the Firestorm matrix, or big nuclear explosions will occur (hence the incentive). He is also a prodigious intellect, as well as an expert on all things Jewish.
